No, schools do not have insurance for such things. If you think the school is at fault you have to sue. You must prove negligence on the part of the school. For instance, at my school a mother dropped
Her son off way before the schoolyard opened. He fell and broke his leg. The mother sued. She did not receive any money because the boy came to school so early that it was before the school could reasonably be expected to have someone watching the students on the yard.
