For a few months now I notice that at random times she will stop playing and just sit there rubbing her left hand and whining like it is hurting her. She is 16 months old so she doesn’t really have the words yet to describe hurting or pain. I’ve noticed that more recently she has also started to rub her feet like this too. Any ideas on what this could be? I’m going to talk to her pediatrician about it but I’d like some input from others who may have experienced this with their little ones.

Best thing to do is take her to the doctors. She is young and can’t express what she is feeling it might be as simple as pins and needles, its a sensation that is a new experience thats just a example but it could be something minor like that. I hope she is alright and you find out soon what is troubling her
Try getting a blood test for Celiac disease. Better to get the diagnosis early rather than late if it’s there.
