Do you believe people can change the sex that God created them? I don't believe an operation?

can change your sex, no matter how much a doctor plays around with the God-given equipment.

  • Does it matter what you think? You obviously don’t need to but do try to imagine how terrible it must feel to have born in the wrong body.

You christians don’t seem to have any feelings for people who don’t fit into your scheme of thinking, like me, an atheist, or my son, a gay, or transgender people.

Who gave you the right to pontificate on things you know nothing about. You and your God go and enjoy yourselves in your way and leave us to our way. I don’t criticize you and your beliefs, do I?

Mind your own business. You are beginning to annoy me with your po-faced ideas and your “hubby” yuk!

  • God, regardless of the depth of ones belief, has never given anyone a sex. Do we need to explain the mommy and daddy bumping uglies story again? A person’s sexuality is a mix of genitalia and brain chemistry. Many people are born that are wired differently.I don’t remember the exact figure but a significant percent of infants are born hermaphroditic. What about them? Here’s the bottom line: it’s none of your business. Don’t like it? Don’t do it. As usual, what you god bots “think” is irrelevant. Are you so small minded that you can’t accept the fact some people are born different. How would you feel if you were born with a woman’s body but had a mind that was screaming guy stuff at you all the time?

    Again, no gods involved.

@Terra: there’s hope for you yet. You have the empathy that many of your fellow Christians lack. Some people are born different.

  • People have sex changes because they’re born with an unfortunate imbalance of chemistry that gives them the feeling of being the opposite gender and if they feel this desire strong enough, they may choose to have the operation. What these people need is support and acceptance, not judgement and condemnation which is what religious people tend to give.

  • You may not agree with it but to say you don’t believe in it isn’t right because we have so much proof the doctors can change the sex of a person so no you can”t believe that can’t change the sex of a person but you may say that you don’t believe in it is right. We have more proof Doctors can change the sex of a person than proof we have of God so how can you believe in God but not operations that can change a person’s gender.

  • I have no interest in how religion sees sex change. But the scientific fact is that the DNA does not change after a sex change operation.

  • It can change the way a person feels about themselves.

But, like you say, an operation cannot change somebodies true gender.

  • If god didnt want us to be able to have sex change done then why would he have given us the equipment and knowledge to do it?

  • A loving God wont care wether you are a man or a woman or confused about what you are, He will want to see how much you care for Him

  • No they cannot. But they still do. some people want things their own way and not Gods way. But it is they who pay the most for they are never able to have children of their own.

  • They are mentally the opposite gender anyway, they are just matching the outside (physically speaking)
