I want to breed some finches. But i don’t know if i have a male and a female.. And how many Finches do i need in a cage?? And how many nest box do i need? i currently have 2 finches. 1 sings a lot and he has a black spot on his chest and orange spot around his head.. And the other one has a plain chest..

It sounds like you have a male and a female. The male will sing and a female will not. Would need a big cage and atleast 2 nest boxes
it depends on how big the cage is and how many finch you have
