I’m 13 years old. For 50 metres I got 9.2seconds and for 30 metres 5.4 seconds. Is this fast, normal or slow? I’m also in the high school track team.

I looked up a couple of Elementary school track championship meets. Keep in mind that these are “championship” times but it will give you some frame of reference:
Girls, 9 & 10 year olds : 1st place time : 7.78 ; 8th place time : 8.35.
Girls, 6 year old and under : 1st place : 8.59 ; 6th place : 9.21.
Possibly, your time might be decent for your area. My guess is that your time is fair/mediocre at best.
It’s higher than average for somebody of your age but could do with alot of work on it, I just turned 14 and I do 40m in 5.12s so that’s an extra ten metres and its a faster time, plus I’ve not been training much and ussually come about 6th out of heats of 8 at competitions (regional class)
youre 14… so an excellent type of those highschool situations shouldnt recommend plenty to you. maximum individuals at 14 havent matured almost sufficient to understand their finished potential as a runner. once you get into highschool you are able to strengthen notably as your physique matures. im sixteen and that i dont have a a hundred time yet my 2 hundred is a 23.5; 4 hundred time is a 50.3 and 8 time is a 2:03. provide it time nevertheless. your situations will drop directly and continuously with hard paintings.
That is pretty fast fo your age.
well it depends on your 1m time.. which is?
