We can only vote for who we feel is the right person based on the information provided, we cannot know a candidate intimately for ourselves, there is a difference. Of course God cares, He cares about everything. As Americans, we do not “pay lip service” to God–by the way, He isn’t just our God (as you put it). There are many different religions in this country, not just people who are Christian (although that is the majority). The degree to which they practice their faith depends on that person–we aren’t cut out of a cookie cutter you know–we are individuals. Show me an “honest” politician–please!
