Are Churchill Longboards any good?

I’m a 14 year old kid looking to get a longboard for the first time. I’m 5’11 and around 160 pounds (not sure if it really matters. The only thing I am going to use my longboard for is cruising around town for transportation. I am not really looking to do slides with my board. Just saying, I am not that good at longboarding. I know how to stand on the board, move, and turn, but pushing off and then getting on the board is hard. My friend showed me this website- http://churchillmfg.com, (Churchill Boards) decently priced board and that seem good. Can you tell me which one to get or any other ones? Are churchill boards good? Thanks!

  • Churchhill is a great company, they offer good boards without the name price. I know a few friends with them. If you are looking for a first board, go find a local shop and see what they offer. Ask them questions and they usually are more then willing to help. Another good online place for boards is daddiesboardshop.com. It is where I got mine and will be if my local shop doesn’t carry what I need.
