Are HID headlamps legal in Ma?? Particularly the HID blue lights?

I own a 23 Kia Sorento. The previous owner installed a HID KIT using a HID blue headlamp. Is this legal for public roads??

    plug and play hid kits are illegal in every state

    if the lamp comes installed with the car via the manufacture then yes they can be used. if they are not a factory installed option on your car then there may be a chance that installing an aftermarket upgrade is not allowed in your state. most places selling any kit like this will use some type of warning telling you that using these may not be street leagal in your area. just like racing add ons for strip cars which people race. you can buy performance items, but they can not be used on daily driver vehicles.
