Are old navy shoes bad?

I got some shoes from old navy, and my friend rags on them calling them ” Walmart shoes” I rag on his stuff to but what’s a good thing to say about my old navy shoes. Like a comeback

I love my old navy shoes. They are reasonable, comfortable and fashionable. I think your friend has an issue with superiority and is trying to act ‘above’ you. So watch out for other subtle remarks and you might want to find a better friend
