I’m an only child and have had thoughts of suicide and thought it could be because i’m an only child.
Just want to know if only children have a higher risk of suicide?

I don’t know about others—but I’ve not had the urge to kill myself. And I probably won’t–as I’m yrs old now. I was an only children. Also wished I had brothers and sisters–but I had/have lots of good friends all my life.
I am going through the same situation I think you have it right. Its harder being an only child i have a way older half brother but i live only with my parents…there&#x;s no one to really talk to since there is no siblings. You can try to talk to a therapist, one who really understands you this is what my parents are trying to do for me
