I’m starting highschool next week and was wondering if I’m allowed to take scissors in my pencil case. Their not safety scissors.

You posted this in the homeschooling section of yahoo answers, so I assume you are a homeschooler, doing school at home. Ask your mom if you can bring scissors.
I never needed my own scissors in high school. If there was a project, the teacher usually had some for the students to use. I wouldn’t bother bringing them as you will probably only use them once or twice during the year and your teacher will probably have some anyway.
Always bring scissors. I am in high school and the teachers never gives us scissors to work on our projects,etc. They always ask us to bring our own. So this year i bought non-safety scissors, so you should be fine. :))
Check your school’s handbook, if they have one. I would assume that to be on the safe side go the first day without the scissors and see if anyone else has brought their own. If worse comes to worse you can always borrow a pair from the school’s main office.

Well it doesn’t matter what type of scissors you take, seeing as all scissors are meant to do the same thing.. Cut things. Yeah you can take scissors..
