someone gave me a treadmill a while back. I plugged it into an extension cord. it stopped working so I finally read the manual (i’m a guy, who needs a manual?) and it said not to plug it into an extension cord, I guess I shorted it out or something. anyway, after a month or two of just hanging clothes from it (amazing how well exercise machines work for that) , I looked at the machine and discovered that it has a fuse in the front of it. will replacing this fuse make it work again? will I finally have to buy hangers and find closet space for my clothes?

It is actually even simpler than replacing the fuse. You can repair the damage done by getting on the treadmill and running it backwards manually. Keep running it until you hear a loud boom. Once you hear that, it should be working perfectly.
Even when it is in working condition, you still can hang clothes from it. Your closet space/hanger issues are nonexistent.
