their manual states power output into 2 ohms will be 50% more than into 4 ohms.

This is an admittance that the internal circuitry isn’t really optimised for 2 ohms else power would double (1% more)
However, the sub with dual voice coils needs to be wired in parallel or series, giving 8 ohms or 2 ohms.
so, follow this wiring guide

mono amp into 2 ohm load (speaker coils wired in parallel), but bear in mind the amp will probably distort before the speaker, and distorted power into a speaker is likely to destroy the speaker.
Boss audio highly overrates its equipment. You will be lucky if that amp really makes 2 watts rms. the subwoofer you linked too is rated to handle 3 watts rms. they will work fine together. just don’t go around telling everyone you have a 11 watt amp. Because you don’t. I am not saying that to be mean, I am trying to keep you from getting laughed at by people who know car audio.

Oh, wire the subwoofer at 2 ohms.
