Can I give my cat coffee?

The right dose is none. Not only is it not necessary, by giving her some of what you drink makes her become a table beggar, and that can be annoying. You don’t want her stealing any of your food or drink when you are not looking, but offering coffee will give her the idea that it is all right.

However, the caffeine in coffee will not be good for her. For cats, 150 mg/kg of caffeine is lethal. That is the equivalent to one cup, which is not how much she would drink. But why even give her any?

Well, I don’t really know why you want to give your cat coffee. It’s not healthy for them. I have two cats myself, and they do just like to sniff sometimes, but that doesn’t mean they want to eat what they’re sniffing. I doubt your cat will even try to drink or lick up the coffee at all. I don’t think this is a good idea! Coffee might make them sick!
