so when i put a picture in photoshop.
it opens a completly different box.
i dont know what i pressed for this to open. or happen.
but i cant really do anything with it.
it was working normally earlier today.
help?
Update:
I know that is what it is meant to do. open a box in the thing. but it doesnt come up, another one does. and i cant do anything on it! all i ssee is the picture and some other random crap

May be that window is opening in full screen mode. click the restore button in the title bar.
If you want an image to be placed inside your currently working document, go to file -> place and select the file.
hi you have to just maximize the window to after the you open any picture.
