I have a wooden bunk bed but im and getting a bit old for it. It has a seat/pullout bed and a desk on the bottom. Would we be able to cut it down so it’s a normal bed ? And get rid of the bottom. Just want to know before we do it coz if it won’t work we don’t want to wreck it .

It sounds much easier to sell it and get another bed! As people who can’t afford a brand new bed are after these for their children
Yh if it is a wooden bed you can cut the top off. If you think about it a bunk bed is beds and a ladder. beds minus bed and a ladder = happy teenager 😉 Try and think about the bed and imagine it without the top half. Would it work?
Yeh sure thing:) Me and my dad did that recently with a wooden bunk bed and I have kept the desk too.. although it doesnt look so good.. I dont know about metal but it worked with my wooden one, just make sure you use a spirit level and a saw that can cut flat:)
