When people do the whole indoor grow thing with POT they use no Sun. Just Light from a light bulb, water, and it grows.

You can but you have to make sure that your plants are getting the right KIND of light. Do some research on metal halide light bulbs to see if that will work for what you’re trying to grow. It’ works for me. You can also use certain types of florescent bulbs, but again you have to make sure that the bulb is giving off the right kind of light. Also, you’re going to be using a lot of energy for these bulbs which means your electricity bill will be going up, so plan accordingly.
