so ive started using a tanning bed to try and clear up my acne scars… i had my second session today and it lasted for 6 minutes i came out and all the back of me was a bit burned but the front of me wasn’t even that tanned and the main reason im using it is for my skin on my face ! is it possible to lie in the opposite direction on the tanning bed so that im lying face down on it ?

It will take a few sessions to get a tan. Just because you are red doesn’t mean that area will become darker. Ask the tanning salon if they have a bed with a face tanner in it. BTW a tanning bed will dry up your skin so some light will help with current acne issues. The only thing a tanning bed will do for scars is reduce the appearance of them with your tan. If you have severe or deep acne scars you need to research other alternatives then tanning.
