Can you use earrings for a nose piercing?

I am considering piercing my nose, however I was wondering whether I can use a earring? is it a safe idea? Nose studs are expensive and I can’t find the exact one i want…

  • well in theory yes you can, but nose studs are curved so they fit inside your nose so earrings would be really uncomfortable. also, most earrings are a lot bigger than nose studs so look a bit odd in your nose. get a proper nose stud and don’t pierce it yourself
