Hi there,
I just brought a new laptop – Dell Inspiron with Windows Home premium, Intel i nd Gen, GB RAM. Recently i downloaded Fedora – bit and copied it on a disc. By restarting and booting from it just enter onto the fedora landing page with some options as “Boot”, “Boot on local disk”,… etc, then after a white blink some sort of command prompt like window shoots up saying some error.
What does it happen and why? Can’t i install Fedora in it???
And one more thing, actually needed an suggestion for this as i left GB of unallocated space for Fedora in which i’m intended to partition as like below(required to install in my desktop too as well):
GB for /root,
GB for swap as i’m using GB of RAM,
MB for /boot,
MB for /home,
GB for /var and
the remaining for /usr.
Am i good with the above specification in partitioning or do you have better one?
Kindly leave a clear suggestion as well as the reason why the error pops-in!
Thanks,
Jestin
