Whenever i log on to the home laptop i click on any software and this page comes up saying “Your computer has been blocked please pay £1 pounds to clear it” i have read up on it and it says it is a scam and do not pay the money. I can get rid of it, every time we go on it, it comes up and we just have to shut it down. Any help?

Install Malwarebytes and scan the computer.

both are free malware bytes cost for added features basic is free
avg is great also
go to a professional if problem is not solved

It sounds like you have a “TROJAN” on your laptop. Use the Freeware version of Malwarebytes to get rid of it. After you download it make sure you update it first & then run a full scan of your laptop. I was so impressed with the Freeware Version that I went ahead and got the Pro Version. You do not need to pay for the Pro Version. The Freeware version of this killer software will clean up your problems very quickly.
