i was crying and she came and spoke to me the First time she said “we are a bit concerned about you today we can help if we can ” do you think this was a bit mean as she is saying she might not be able to help in a way ?also do you think the word concerned was over the top second time she came and spoke to me she told me that my work was lovely was this the right way to deal with

Some things are within her knowledge and experience, and other things (medical matters, as an example) may not be. I can’t detect anywhere that she was being mean. No, the word “concerned” is not over the top.
  • The second time when she told you your work was lovely, she was being encouraging about your talents and abilities.
  • You obviously have a caring teacher. Now, let her know if she can help solve the problem, whatever it is.
  • She dealt with it okay, at least she cared about you.
