So, to start off, we’re 4 weeks away from ending the school year, and out of the entire school year so far, I’ve only missed about 3 days of school, 1 of which was for my school club and we had to travel, and the other 2 were because I was sick. For all of those days, I’ve had them excused and I never got a call home or anything.
So anyways, I really wanted to ditch this one day on friday, and I hear that school will call if you have many unexcused absences, but im just a little unsure about it. Do high schools really call to make sure?????
Btw, this is for california high schools…I dont know if that helps in any way.

yes they do. once i jinxed high school cause i didn’t feel like it and i got a letter home, which was depressing.
