  • God is a spirit who created us. Christians think jesus is the sun of god. Muslims belive that he was a slave and a messenger.

God/Allah has more power than jesus. You cannot look at god or see him as he is so powerful.

  • Did God die for my sins ? One group of Christians believe God literally died for their sins . The terms , the buzzwords are statements such as ‘ the finished work of Christ ‘ . Other propositions are ‘ Grace is God’s undeserved favor ‘ . The Apostles determine how to interpret the cross not modern teaching . In modern teaching it is assumed the cross of Calvary imputes righteousness to the believer . The righteousness so imputed functions because of a contract in the Godhead between The Father and The Son . This is a false assumption . God only ex-posits at Calvary yours and my forgiveness of sin . The imputation of righteousness in modern teaching is passive not dynamic . Paul’s teaching however calls for an active, dynamic response to God for forgiveness to work . Jesus in Matthew 26:27 when He came to the communion cup and had passed it to His disciples , He gave thanks . Then He characterized the meaning of the cup with the saying , (you must) drink every bit of it . In modern teaching where righteousness is supposedly imputed there is no obligation to drink ones cup of life ,so then forgiveness of sins is meaningless . The truly righteous can always be said to have taken the cup of communion and to have drank it to the last drop , to have walked in righteousness rather than to accept the cheap folly of a passive claim on God’s holy blood The difference between God and son of God is symbiotic rather than competitive , not who has more power but who has the real grace to live a godly life , well that is God but those who walk in righteousness are righteous even as He is righteous .

  • John 17:3 tells us: “This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God and of the one whom you sent forth Jesus Christ.” Who would be “the only true God”? We as humans all have names. The animals, fish, birds, mountains and rivers and oceans have names. So, the question is: “Does God have a personal name? The answer is an emphatic, YES. People around the earth know it as Jehovah. Jehovah created Jesus and sent him here by means of a miracle to buy back what Adam lost, namely perfect life on a paradise earth. Jesus paid what is called “the ransom” for sinful humans. Adam’s disobedience (sin) causes sickness and death. Jesus’ obedience to his death on a torture stake, makes it possible for those who demonstrate faith in his ransom sacrifice to regain what Adam lost, everlasting life. Luke 1:34 and 35 Romans 5:12+18

These Scriptures tell us how Jesus was created and how the ransom puts an end to sin and death. Learn more about Jesus Christ being created and the ransom he paid at www.jw.org. Jesus Christ was Jehovah’s very beginning of creation. Proverbs 8:22 and read to verse 31.

  • I am a Scottish Theologian in training, I study religions and ethics.

Jesus is one of the holy trinity, he was fully man, fully God. NOT a demi-god as some would claim. He has all the power of God, since he is God, and all the humanity and mortal erm ness of a human.

No difference as far as power.

    Hope that helped

  • God doesn’t die….coming to your second question: Christians believe Jesus is the son of God..That is actually wrong…it makes no sense because God does not give birth nor was he given birth by anyone…God just created Jesus and sent him to this world to teach others how to lead a life..3rd question: Of course God has more power..Jesus Christ is just a messenger.

  • “God” in the New Testament often refers to The Father. Jesus is the same Being of God, but a different Person, he is The Son. Jesus did say that the Father is greater than he is.

  • First of all JESUS IS NOT GOD.

Once you understand that indisputable fact from your study of the scriptures then you can move forward to why Jesus “Gods only begotten son” <[quoting straight from the Bible], died for our sins:)

  • Yes. Only God is sinless so God came down in human form as Jesus the Son of God and went to the Cross of Calvary for you and me so we could have eternal life back by believing in Jesus and what Jesus did. Satan, Adam, and Eve lost eternal life for us in the Garden of Eden, but Jesus won it back.

Jesus is both humanity and divinity. Human by Mary and Divine by God. Two different natures in Jesus, but it made Him fully a man and fully God.

  • Yes, God is the creator of everything, Jesus Christ is God’s first of all creation. God.

  • Not mine. Nobody has ever been humiliated, whipped and crucified on my account. I am an adult, and I am responsible for my own errors. Besides, I didn’t even get here until 1960.

Curious to see how they will get around this one, though.
