Do you think God has put intelligent life on other planets?

If there is intelligent life, they are smart enough to not have any thing to do with mankind until he has dug himself out of his political ratholes.

  • Billions of stars just in our Galaxy, and billion of Galaxies . The chances that the universe is not teaming with life is astronomical. Like Jodie Foster said,” if not, then it is a horrible waste of space “.

  • No. I believe there is Intelligent life on other planets, but not that any “god” had anything to do with it. The universe is some 13+ billion years old, earth is only about 4.5 billion years old. There is solid evidence that life itself is older than the earth. So the odds of intelligent life having developed elsewhere as well as here are quite high.
I think you are right, though, that any intelligent life advanced enough to know about the so-called “intelligence” of earthlings has enough smarts to avoid this place.
    Blessings on your Journey!

  • The discovery of alien life would have no effect on genuine Christianity. The Bible stands as written, and there is nothing in it that would absolutely contradict the existence of extraterrestrials. If aliens exist, they exist within God’s framework for creation. God cannot be hurt by truth, and those who walk by faith love the truth. John 16:13 assures us that the Spirit will guide us to all truth. Nothing that happens in this universe is a surprise to God. If aliens exist, God will let us know what to do with that information when the time comes.

  • There is the Kepler space telescope who’s job it is is to collect data on any other planets surrounding other stars. Since it’s inception, it has startled everyone. I don’t know what the number is today but it has detected upwards of 2-30 other planets, some of which reside in the “goldilocks” zone, the zone where we live in orbiting our star, the Sun. Goldilocks is that distance from the Sun that’s not too hot and not too cold, where water is predominately liquid. Astrophysicists are now thinking that in our own Milky Way galaxy, there are probably up to 5,0,0 planets in the goldilocks zone orbiting there respective stars. Out of that many planets, I would wager that we are not the only intelligent life in this universe. Remember, our galaxy is but one of at least 2,0,0,0 other galaxies. Am I grabbing at straws in assuming there is probably other intelligent life besides us?

  • No, He never did this as of yet because their is more to supporting and maintaining life on earth than any person can understand and the work to get another planet livable for humans is not their at the moment in the universe. God would need to bring many things into play to just begin the stages.

  • No, because the angels or spirit sons of God looked down from heaven and noticed the daughters of men and wanted to be men, humans. Genesis 6: As a spirit person they did not have a flesh and blood body. They did not eat or sleep or take a wife and have children. They were direct creations.
So they came to earth and lived with women and had children. Later God told them what they did was wrong. Being half spirit persons they realized they could do things the average man couldn’t.
Saying “we will be God’s to them” So that is what they became and they were worshiped by humans as the mighty ones of old the men of fame.
In Revelation 12: They war with other angels and are thrown down to the earth and God says they will eventually be destroyed.

If their was other planets God had made habitable and put people on them this planet would not be unique in that it had women. This would have came up before and the way it sounds this is the first planet he has made habitable. Not that after this one is made perfect he won’t cause others to go to other planets. But it is clear this one is first.

  • when Jehovah God found Adam Eve and devil having sinnedl: he wanted to kill them, but … failed, the devil managed to open an issue would it be true the offspring of Adam and Eve? God allowed some time to know. If there was life on other planets had been settled the question at that time, because: would not sin as Adam Eve and the devil, and God would have destroyed these 3.

  • No, since there’s no evidence any “god” exists.

That other life (possibly intelligent) exists on other planets is statistically extremely likely. But there’s no reason to claim there IS such life until we have evidence that confirms it. And we don’t, yet.

  • Wow! The atheists are sure out today!

I think it likely, myself. Just the shear size of the Universe itself means that.

And, they don’t have anything to do with us because they are very, very far away. Even with powerful radio telescopes, the amount of radio “noise” from Earth couldn’t be heard from the nearest planets.

  • There is a scripture I read recently. Jesus said that he would go to prepare a place for them. His Father had many rooms in his mansion. That there are also others. Could not find it directly. Looked for almost an hour.

  • I think there might be intelligent life elsewhere, but not that put there by any god. It would be even more interesting, if they believed in as many gods as we do.

  • Maybe intelligent life from another planet put us on this one .

  • Yes, God has created millions of other inhabited planets.

  • Nope…

Not saying that intelligent life may not exist, but that a god wasn’t responsible…

    IMHO

  • No. Why would I think that, without any evidence that any gods exist? That would be nuts.

  • No way. But nature may have created life elsewhere.

  • hi there. I see how this works now.

of course he did. read Ezekiel. those guys are not from around here.

  • “God?”

    No.

  • God? No.

  • there’ not much intelligent life here.

  • he mightve but only god has the answer to that

  • Yes. Why would He only create one? He has created worlds without number.

  • I don’t believe there is.

  • Answer hidden due to its low rating

Most life would be microscopic organisms. Out of that 1 out of 1 billion worlds might have intelligent life. This is just a guess but we have no direct evidence.

  • Answer hidden due to its low rating

John 14:6 shows that there is no intelligent life on any other planet.

This is one of many ways we know that Latter Day Saints are not a Christian denomination.
