I don’t know what subject you’re studying that this question was asked but besides the oxygen/CO/photosynthesis inequality, the saplings are going to support the same kinds of wildlife that an old-growth forest is capable of supporting.

i really dont believe it does.It takes a tree to mature anywhere from-yrs.You cant replace just a sapling for a mature tree unless you planted enough of them at the same time.

no, because the small saplings don’t produce as much oxygen and neither do they take in as much Carbon dioxide as older trees.
