Hi, I went in with a few guys and bought a 95 escort that is fully gutted, has a roll cage, racing seat, and harness. I’m the mechanic and will be working on the car too. We bought it to run in Chump Car, and maybe Lemons. What else could it run in? SCCA? Live in michigan. Thanks

I don’t know what the actual requirements are, but if it has a racing history, it might be eligible for some vintage racing events. They did used to run Escorts in some classes. I don’t know if it was in SCCA or not though.
I don’t know where you are in Michigan, if you’re in the South East part of the Lower Peninsula, there are a bunch of local tracks-both dirt and paved-here in North West Ohio that have classes for front drive compacts. Beautiful state by the way, but you guys really need to work on some of your roads!
