Recently I notice I’ve been text flirting with my cousin. I’m not doing it on purpose but it just comes to me for some reason. I am in no way trying to have some sort of relationship with her. But I can’t help but do it. I just got a msg from her and I’m about to reply something like “aww ur getting excited about ur new iPhone? that’s so cute.” or something like that…should I stop? Is it weird?

You know it’s legal in some states that you can marry your first cousin. I wouldn’t but if you keep on flirting with your cousin like that things are bound to happen….
It is definitely weird, but it is good that you are aware of it. I think that you shouldn’t stop being nice to your cousin, but obviously she’s a little out of bounds for you. The flirting should probably end, but you can still be friendly.
Differs from person to person, like the message your about to send if i sent it no one would say its flirting they would think im just giving a hard time. Its all in the perception of it. As long as your not trying to flirt i don’t see it as flirting. But if she does then yeah cut it.
You can be nice to your cousin. If you consider it “flirting” then you should definitely stop that part of it, that doesn’t mean you can’t text her or anything though. Be yourself but don’t let it get out of hand.
