I started getting the depo shot April 2011. After this cycle wears off on January 16, I want to start TTC. My goal time to get pregnant was next fall, but I’ve become way too impatient. I’ve decided to just not take any birth control until April 1. If I’m not pregnant by then, I’ll take the pill until August and then get off birth control to start trying again. When do you think I should take pregnancy tests during the Spring, since my period may not return before I become pregnant? I think that I should start mid-February and take them every 2-4 weeks. Also, does anyone have experience getting pregnant after depo?

It takes most women at least 3 to 6 months 1 get pregnant after they stop using any form of hormonal contraception!
