My almost 2 yr old hamster is so much lethargic these days and not eating much. Like last night he didnt eat at all. He used to eat a lot and 2 times a day. He used to run soo fast when he was in his ball. And now if I put him there, he cannot even move. He just sleeps most of the time at the corner of his cage. If I hold him in my hand, he just stays quite. He used to be so much active. IS he dying 🙁 or hibernating ? Me and my kid soo love him. Dont know what to do. Its her first hammy. I think he also lost weight.. he used to be a chubby one and loved to run.

Likely dying…sorry to say. Get the hamster to a vet asap.
I’m sorry but its dying, my hamster died of old age just 2 weeks ago and we had her for 2 years, so I’m sorry but its most ikely its dying xx we buried ours in the garden xx
could be dying, but if anything does happen check that he isn’t hibernating before you get rid of him!!!
