  • This guy claims he was molested by bigfoot. I would say that was probably uncomfortable on many different levels.

  • Any unusual event can be uncomfortable, but when it seems like you’re being deliberately messed with by evil, THAT’S uncomfortable.

Back in Sept. ’02 I filled a paper cup at a bottled water dispenser, saw the bubbles rise in the bottle, (blub, blub), and felt the slight weight of the full cup. As I lifted the cup to my mouth, it was bone empty and dry. The second time I WATCHED the water fill the cup, raised it to my lips, bone dry. Third time the same. To the empty room, I said: ‘knock it off, Satan’, and went to the men’s room for a drink.

It’s a shame there are no witnesses when you need them!

This is a very true story.

In the same vein, I’ve lost a pair of glasses and a denture under equally baffling, paranormal circumstances. Something happens that couldn’t, yet did. Satan doesn’t like Christians!

  • I had this dream…well i think I might of been sleep walking or something because it feels so real that i went to go get water and when my glass was filling up i turned my head and saw a little girl with a vicotrian dress on looking at me. SO real…and odd.

Other things to, like I was at this haunted hotel, didn’t know until the next day, the light bulb expolded and shattered all over me and my friend, there were shadows outside the windows the faucet kept turning on and the blankets kept getting pulled(literally pulled) off at night and the electricy stopped working on the tv and then the next morning when we found out about the ghost we asked the ghost to prove it and the door slammed shut(both the bathroom and door to the room at the same time) we got the hell out quick. Oh and the fire alarm went off during the middle of the night.

Then the guy who owned the hotel had a dream that one of the beds that was built into the wall, 19’s, had money in it so on halloween they ripped it opened and found a scalp…covered in crusted blood and hair. saw the picture, scariest sh*t of my life.

  • Early in my highschool years and throughout my early adult life I would wake up from a nice slumber. I could see and hear, but couldn’t move nor speak/yell out for help. My body is totally “locked.” In each of these instances (prob 50 times or more), I would hear wierd noises or someone laughing and could see black objects/clouds hovering over me. This freaked me out the first few times bc I didn’t know what was happening. In my culture, this phenomenon literaly translates to “ghost laying” or “ghost oppress “. I would hear stories of how other family members had the same experience. I would pray to God when these things happened, and then I would snap out of it being able to move again.

After a handful of instances, I noticed that each time this happened, I was extremely tired and lacked rest the previous day/night. I did some research and found there could be a scientific reason. Your body is so exhausted and tired, it shuts down and while falling asleep for some reason, your brain wakes up. There’s some disconnect between the brain and spinal cord/nerves that control your motor functions. I think they call this sleep paralysys.

This still happens once in a while. Now it’s kind of funny and I shrug it off. Now when it happens, my wife notices I try to break out of it (bc I try to move my appendages to get free) and sometimes hears me mutter stuff from my mouth. She then gives me a shove to help me :p

  • I’ve had some things… Don’t really like to think about them because they creep me out, but at the same time am curious…

    1. Everyone’d gone to bed early, I was just getting to sleep and heard what sounded like all the dishes, pots, pans, etc. being thrown out of the kitchen cupboards onto the floor. I was pretty much paralyzed with fear, called my dad, he went and checked everything out and nothing was out of place.

    2. I was in my room reading one night and heard someone yell my name. I thought it was my mom, so yelled back… Came down a few minutes later and she said she’d been in the backyard and hadn’t called me.

    3. When I was really young… We lived in a older house (built in the 70’s, this happened in the 90’s) My dad was at work and all the kids at school except the youngest. My mother and the youngest had been grocery shopping and came home around noon-ish, she brought the bags and my youngest sister into the house, and had just walked into the kitchen when she heard stomping upstairs. She walked over towards the staircase and saw our dog sitting at the top of the stairs, barking (which was unusual because he’s a very mellow dog) and growling (which was EXTREMELY unusual) while staring down the hall towards a wall. She immediately grabbed my sister and the phone, ran out front and called the police. (She’d thought it was possibly an intrudr; she didn’t believe in ‘paranormal’ things or ghosts) The police showed up and searched the house. Nothing was there.

My aunt’s home is also haunted, it has been for over 30 years, and the youngest kids in the family, at christmas parties and such, have come downstairs and talked about “the guy” in my aunts bedroom. lol She doesn’t have any secret lovers up there! And these kids were never told by their parents about the ghost because they had been affected by it when they were young. A little bit wierd…

One last story, my mom’s cousin was haunted when she was younger, by a womans spirit that chased her through her house and such, day and night. She slept with a crucifix for most of her childhood. She’s fine today, but she doesn’t like to talk about it (imagine that :P)

So, these are either frightening misunderstandings or imaginations, but who knows. I guess it’s impossible to tell.

EDIT: All of the above were in my family, but we also had a friend who’d had paranormal activity in her house. She was Catholic, and thought ghosts and paranormal stuff was crap, but she changed her mind after her experience with one house. It was newer too…

Among other things one night she was baking a casserole and the oven door opened the dish went flying across the room and smashed into the living room wall.

Her son had woken up to a lady asking him (Calling him by “Michael” though his name was Alex) if he would come with her, and how she wished he wasn’t in pain, etc.

The front door would lock her out of the house when she went to get the mail, and no one else was home.

The family’d get back from places to have all the furniture rearranged.

Once the wife and husband were talking in the kitchen, and the husband was insistent on how she must be crazy, this kinda sh!t doesn’t happen, and she told him to turn around and look at the kitchen table. He looked and saw a knife standing straight up. lol He was a believer since! 😛

I dunno. Crazy stuff. Creeps me out as much as it intrigues me… But that combo never leads to good results 😛

  • I bought an electric guitar and the guy I bought it from explains that he can’t play it any more because his arms are all messed up (from what I have no idea, but he couldn’t manipulate his hands and elbows). Then he tells me that the guitar had belonged to his dead friend. The friend had been killed in a motorcycle accident and his arms had been chopped off. I bought the guitar and then I started having trouble with my arms – ulna nerve problems, carpel tunnel, and finally thoracic outlet syndrome. I sold the guitar, but I didn’t mention the paranormal to the person I sold it too. I prayed the person didn’t have trouble. Anyway, as soon as I sold it I no longer had trouble with my arms and hands. Before I got rid of the guitar I had a “White Witch” check it out and she physically couldn’t touch it… she was like “Get it away! It’s got bad energy!” Yeah, I know this all sounds like a steaming pile of poop, but I’m telling you the truth. Peace 🙂

  • I think growing up, my family was haunted. It started from before I was born. My mother was haunted by a spirit who possessed itself to look identical to my brother. One night my “brother” woke up and went to use the restroom. On the way out my mother hollered for him to turn off the bathroom light. He kept moving toward the bedroom as if he didn’t hear her. He than begin to crawl over her to his side of the bed and once he was above her, my mother realized she could see right through him. At that moment the spirit began to smother her. She closed her eyes unable to speak and when she opened them it was gone. She turned and saw my brother fast asleep next to her. When she turned to look down the hall, the bathroom light was still on.

When I was about 6 we moved into this house that had converted the attic into a third bedroom. This was my room. The closet was huge, as it too was part of the attic. It had a latch lock on it. No matter where you were, when it was or what was going on, that lock NEVER would stay latched, ever. You could latch it, walk down the stairs, turn around immidiately and come right back up, and it never failed, the doors would be unlocked and they would be wide open. Needless to say, I never slept in that room by myself.

My grandfather and grandmother bought a house brand new in our home town. It was prolly in the 50’s when they purchased it. They didn’t have air so their only form of air conditioning was leaving the back door open for a draft. Every night my grandfather would open the door, and lock the screen. When he passed away, every night we’d go to bed and when we woke, the back door would be wide open. We’d lock it and it would be open again the next morning. This continued for several months until finally I suppose he moved on.

The last one that directly affected me was when I was at that same house with the crazy closet. I was in the back yard playing with my brothers GI joes, when he walked out the back door and headed to the alley with a bag of trash. As he made it to the fence we heard a loud noise and realized the door had slammed shut. We paid no mind, since where we live it gets very windy. When he got back to the door he could not open it. Something, or Someone, had locked it from the inside. The bolt action lock had been turned manually. We had to jump a six foot fence just to get in from the front door.

While all paranormal experiences can be frightening to some extent, thankfully none of mine have been too terrible

  • It has happened while I was sleeping that I felt like someone or something was holding me down. I was telling myself over and over to get up .. I could wake up .. just not move. Pretty scary! Give the dream where you’re falling and wake up with a scare over that any day!!

  • Sometimes when I don’t eat enough I black out. Well, not like faint, but I can’t see anything. Also, a couple of nights ago, I saw my lamp start spinning in ways that are physically impossible. I could hear it spin to. SO Freaky.

  • When I was seven the hall between my room and the living room began to burn, or at least that’s what it looked like, there was heat and everything. Just really creepy. I was terrified of course but then my heart just started flipping out as though there was something more “sinister” about it.

IDK but it scared the living daylights out of me, I ran to my moms room, beside the hall way and the fire stopped. No smoke, no scorched carpet, nada.

Told my mom, probably more like yelled/ screamed/ cried to her, and that’s when she taught me how to rebuke spirits in the Father’s name… I couldn’t sleep alone for about a year though.

Sounds dumb but make of it what you will.

  • I was at my friends house and I saw a ghostly face staring at me on the wall- I screamed and froze up and my mom had to come take me to the doctor cause I was pale and cold!
