What version of Internet Explorer do you have right now.
Also, can you confirm that you are talking about Windows XP Service Pack – and not just Office Service Pack update (they are different things?).
This is of course presuming that you have Windows XP. To check these details, go to Start – My Computer (right click) – Properties – You should see this information in the “General” Tab.
If you do have Service Pack , go to Microsoft Update (or Windows Update), from Start – All Programs and download and install it from there. If this fails, then you can go to http://www.microsoft.com/windows/internet-explorer… – and download IE for the appropriate operating system from there.
