It’s not always long… I was induced at 3 pm the 13th and had my daughter at 9:53 pm. My partner was over seas but if it helps… my mom was there the entire time and didn’t leave once.
i was induced on a sunday morning (after my water broke) and had my son on late monday night. Yes my partner stayed the whole time
it can be a long process, but it might also be pretty quick so its best that he stays with you (if he can). my first child was induced and it was only a few hours after that my contractions started and he was here. all in all, around 3.5 hours.
My husband did. He brought a book though. And my parents stopped by as well. Because it can take a long time and you do get lonely and bored after a while.
For the most part-he went and got a sandwich and let my mom come in and be the relief coach for a while.
My husband was there the from the start but he did go to get something to eat which was fine but I did have to call him and tell him I was about to start pushing.
Mine stayed – it was at night, and I woke up at 4am in full blown labor, so I think he should stick around!! ♥
Absolutely. Where else WOULD he be?
