How best to paint………………?

a vintage gold metal wire record player stand. Link to similer unit as mine metal wise.

I want to spray paint it candy apple red. Would just spraying it do ? Do they even have candy apple red spray paint at home depot ? lol

  • The image is BRASS which for all intense purposes looks like gold in color.

    Paint can be got at a place like an auto body supply shop that can mix any color and put it in a aerosol spray can. That is where you will find that color. Or try an automotive parts store as they carry factory made colors for less cost. Candy apple is a car or motorcycle paint color.

  • If in the Sacramento , CA area – Go to Original Paints they can mix up any color that you would like and put it in a can for you. But they have these paint stores in most bigger towns.
