How can I feel more motivated to do school?

I’m homeschooled, and I’m almost done. I will graduate this year, but I don’t know if I have enough motivation to get it done by summer.

In my school, the school sends you textbooks and and test booklets, you do the tests, and then send them back in for grading. There’s about 30 some books in all that’s have to be completed. I have 3 left. I’m so close, but my 3 last courses are horrible. Ones boring, one is something I’m just plain bad at, and the last one is just plain hard. The ones that hard is algebra, which I’m actually ok at. But I have someone helping me who actually majored in math at college, and she said it took 2 1/2 years in college to learn what my ONE textbook teaches. Even she has trouble with my algebra.

I’m feeling hopeless, like I’ll never finish on time. How can I get more motivated?

  • Math is cumulative and requires you to properly maintained a basis of facts for use in working memory. A spaced repetition system is the most effective way to deal with the forgetting curve in math.
