I am trying to add more of a pitch to a double wide trailer and finish it off with metal. The problems are that i dont want to add to much weight because i dont know how much it the joists can take. its not flat its a : and i would like to get it to a : if i can the dimensions are ‘ by ‘ per side

roof deck insulation.you can buy pieces with pitch I.E. inch tick on one side down to inch on the other
There are companies out there that retrofit existing flat roofs with metal roofs. They add a frame and then secure panels to the frame. While they do that, you may want them to add additional insulation to the roof as well as make sure they add proper guttering and downspouts to the roof.
Another alternative is spray polyurethane foam. This can be much more cost effective and is sustainable. However, with foam you would not want to do darker colors.

Our mobile had the roof re-done. All they did was frame the new roof right on top of the old roof. They gave it a much steeper pitch and some over-hanging eves, which it really needed ’cause it had none before. Never had any issues.

mark is right, and if framed right, itll be more or less load bearing on the walls not the roof.its easy if you have any experience. take me i dunno around hrs to frame and sheet, hrs to roof.forgot to mention, im a professional roofer, and id need helpers. man i reread and it sounded like i was superman.
