How can I study to be a CRNA in the USA?

I am currently studying to be a nurse here in England but want to be a CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anaesthetist) in the near future. However, CRNA’s aren’t popular here, hence why I want to move to the USA and find a college that can let me do the 28 month masters program I need to qualify. I’m not sure if US universities/colleges offer financial support for international students though, so I’m a bit sceptical. How on Earth would I pay for school? Would I need to get a part time job as a RN whilst studying to be an CRNA? Could someone help me? Maybe you may know of foreign students and how they pay their tuition, or any other information that might be helpful. PLEASE! Thanks

You would need to get a US nursing license to be accepted to a CRNA program in the US. UK nurses are specialist trained and US nurses are generalist trained. You would need theory and clinical hours in adult, peds, OB/GYN and mental health nursing to get a US license. You would also need at least 2 years ICU nursing experience.
