It isn’t the clmuping kind just the icky stuff. I went to clean my bath tub because we have cat boxes in it and there was a little litter on the bottom so I went to get it a little wet with the shower and a whole bunch of litter came up from the drain. What can I do. The really, really, really, really, really, really bad terrible horrible thing is I live in an apartment and I am worried the people downstairs will get backed up too. Is there anything I can do tonight without going out. Plus I have no money at the moment. We tried to stick a wire down there but it is clogged really bad. Help please!!

Start by filling up tub then use a plunger to loosen it up. Once it breaks free all the water in the tub will clear out the drain. Make sure that stopper is open. If this doesnt work you will have to remove stopper assembly and snake through overflow.
Bail out the water interior the tub as much as you may and sell off in lavatory. Now get some boiling water on the range in super pots. Then take into the bathroon and sell off right away down the drain once you’re status (so as that the water pounds right away down the drain hollow) What the clog is most of the time is gunge including hair and cleansing soap forming a clog/blockage. so which you’re in truth melting it away. If the st pot does not do it depart the water interior the tub and upload a d(or a effervescent teakettle) If it does not start up draining after or , bail out the nice and comfy water and make greater warm water on the range(want it boiling warm no longer faucet warm) and do it lower back. it would start up beginning up and while it does, start up including faucet water suitable out of the faucet and down the drain to flush the pipe sparkling. Works only as stable a Draino. and no injury to the pipes or septic tank. it is recommended to attempt and use a plunger in there too perhaps perhaps to hurry it up.

if the plunger isnt working for you, you can go buy the one second plumber, it shoots air down the drain and will break up anything there. in the future, even though it is non clumping, get it out of the bathtub, you dont want that going down the drain. if it has to be there, keep the plug in and vacum up anything that gets spilled…
