How do I make a power point for child abuse?

I want to make my presentation a bit more interseting, but I don’t know what to purt in it.

Should I make bulletpoints of what im talking about?

Show pictures of types of abuse?

I’d love if someone helped me!

  • 1. Do not have more than 20 words per slide; bullet points are best

    2. Get video of a news story or something and have it embedded (insert movie in PPT; use the movie tools to get it to play full screen and full volume); it should be a WMV format and the video should be SHORT – a couple of minutes; give participants an exercise to discuss the movie

    3. No more than one slide for every two minutes you’re speaking (ideally, no more than one slide for every five minutes you’re speaking)

    4. Your participants have to move every 19 minutes

    5. Do not use a lot of clip art – it’s old, hackneyed, and overused

    6. Use a dark background and white lettering if you’ll be showing it in a bright environment

    7. Do not read your PPT

    8. There’s a feature in PPT that allows you to send a Word outline directly to PPT or the reverse – if you must have a handout, have a single page handout made from the outline, not copies of your slides
