  • First Class Mail International does not offer any tracking. Sometimes you can get lucky and the receiving country will scan the customs label as it enters Customs but that is not a given.

You can receive tracking, at no additional charge, as well as a defined level of Indemnity coverage against loss or damage, also at no additional charge, by using Priority mail International. No other extra services are necessary with PMI to receive tracking, by the Customs Declaration Form number.

  • Sometimes the postal service scans customs forms so they can act as tracking. Registered mail costs $11.50 extra, comes with indemnity coverage and has a tracking number. Some foreign postal service website isn’t compatible with USPS’s website, some are.
