How do you convert wax files into avi! NEED HELP REALLY BADLY!?

well, i got wax and thought great! i can now begin to make my movie for science, then, after finishing, i tried to put it in windows movie maker, nope. wasent gonaa happen. so i tried converting it with different lots of software ( any video conveter & prism) but no, now how am i ever gona create this movie for science! i need some way of converting wax into avi or any format reaaaly then i can convert that so please! any help would be much apprectiated!

    a wax file is just an audio shortcut link for the internet,

    it contains no audio.

    all it contains is the URL for the stream that it is linked to.
