Ok so I have been trying to play Battlefield 1942.. Well when I go to play it origin goes to launch. Then the box just disappears…. Nothing happens after that what so ever… Just nothing…. The process is not even in my Task manager. Someone please help me!

Based on the game’s launch year.
There might be a crack file or the game might still be CD based.
Try and copy paste the crack file in the game’s folder from your CD/ISO Image. Then when you play the game just leave the play disc in your CD/DVD ROM or mount the image.
If not try to re-install the game.

only thing I can say is restart the computer and run as administrator, from what you said its the only thing i can think of also you can try troubleshoot compatibility if you have that feature.
