Yeah that’s basically MMA.
Yes very much so. I practice both. I recommend to wrestle too. Wrestling ha better takedowns then bjj, imagine getting on top of a guy and putting the in a arm triangle. Muy Thai is great. Really nothing to say there other than make sure to practice counter striking.
Source(s): MMA fighter and I train in judo, bjj, muy Thai, kyokashin karate and wrestling
MMA Muay Thai? No. Korea Muay Thai? Yes. Both of it is not meant for self-defense. If a pack of men or women stabs you with knives then you will be injured or dead. Traditional Jiu Jitsu is much better. It reminds me of Aikido.
Yes it’s gd,but wrestling or at least wrestling defense should be learned. Guys like rory MacDonald don’t have a specialist discipline but are learning to be well rounded from the outset, that is learning every art and becoming familiar…
yes. Jiu jitsu teaches you how to fight every where on the ground ( bottom, top, mount, ect) and muay thai teaches you how to fight from all ranges
It’s really good but I feel it’s overused.
Do something different, Boxing+Sambo; Kickboxing+Judo;Capoeira+wrestling ect.
I guess they are good combo, you could do long and close distance fighting and also stand up as well as ground fighting
Great combo
