How is toilet wine made and where do the prisoners go to the bathroom while their toilet is being used?

I think the term “toilet wine” is just a nickname, not necessarily how it is made (although maybe at some point in time it was actually made in a toilet). Watching tv shows about prison they usually get a large plastic bag ( most of the time a large trash bag). Then they put in the water, whatever things they have that contain sugars that will ferment, and the yeast. The toilet is free for their personal business.
