How long until I can get my driver liscense?

My birthday was last month, I am now 17. Could i take the permit test without taking divers ed classes? And how long do i have to wait to get my license? When is the soonest time possible at this point in time to get my license?

  • Just wait till your 18 you can skip the permit test and get your license on your 18th birthday youd have to wait a year after you get your permit to get your license anyways.

It was also required that we attend the drivers ed class to graduate from high school. At the age of 18, you were not required to take the class and would be able to obtain a license without a wait.
