Found a used condom in a book bag in my fiancee’s car trunk. Don’t know why she would keep such a thing, different question I guess…but we’ve been together three years next month. She says it’s from an old boyfriend, but it looks newer than that. The baby batter’s all dried up, but it’s in overall good shape. Does that sound like a condom that has been laying around for four or five years in a book bag? Anyway to date at what point the rubber would deteriorate?

Ask her why would she keep it. That kind of thing should be disposed of and I don’t know of any man or woman who would keep a used condom for that long and expect their finace to believe that. Tell her to call you when she is prepared to tell you the truth and the wedding plans are on hold for now. It is better to tell the truth and work through something like this rather than her to lie to you and a relationship as well as a marriage is nothing without trust and right now she is proving untrustworthy. Ask her if she found a used condom and it belonged to you would she buy this story. Enough said.

I don’t know how long it takes for a used condom that is kept in a book bag to deteriorate, but I know I would stop worrying about that and start worrying why your fiancee has kept it all these years.
I’ve heard of women taking a flower that a man gave her and put it in a book to preserve it as a keep sake, but a CONDOM! Like I said, GROSS!

Does she use the bag a lot or has it just been sitting untouched in her trunk for 4-5 years? I think condoms take years to deteriorate (won’t fully break down though). It should be dried out though…..the plastic not just the sperm.
Does she come home later then she promised? Take phone calls in another room (usually after throwing you a quick look)? Are there any other signs she’s cheating besides the condom?
