How many deck boards do I need?

Hi I am going to be making a deck but am having trouble calculating how many boards I need my dimensions are 50 square metres the boards I will be using are 4.8 metres long by 140mm wide any help much appreciated.

  • The width of a deck board divided by the total width of the deck,..in millimeters?..i don’t know metric.
    In America divided in.. Inches..
    Gives you how many deck boards per width..Then figure how many per length…usually double the amount, or even triple.
