I know to change the water daily but what about the food?
I got my gerbils yesterday and I’ve noticed there is still quite a bit of food in the bowl……. can I leave it for tonight then change the food tomorrow? Or should I do it tonight?

Daily, they tend to get their bedding in their bowls a lot. Just give it two tables spoons each day.
Daily. This doesn’t mean to necessarily toss out a full bowl of meals, but put that food back in the bag (if it’s all fit for human consumption nonetheless, and no longer simply seed shells!), shake it up, after which pour new meals on your gerbil.
Daily, mine died because my sister thought she had put food in. Make sure you feed them every single day, even if they have food.
