i put some hermit soil in and i need to know when its time to clean it so how do u clean it and do u clean it like take it all out or do u use the crab scoop and i added and to it and the soil is on the top and its mixed with a little sand and i think that this hermit soil keeps the humidity up and my crabs love this stuff and please help me figure out how to clean it i care about them and my smell thanx

Well, it depends on they kind of soil you’re using. I have one hermit crab (Guapa ) And she’s in a mixture of 2 sand colors. But the best thing to do it just leave it until you think it’s too much and throw away the old sand or whatever you’re using (Sand is preferred by them) and replace it.
