How to do this? Nursery help?

I have a very small space that I am trying to do the nursery in and I need some advice to make it all fit without it looking to cramped and cluttered. Any ideas?

Update:

Angeldust- that room is gorgeous! But, unfortunately I don’t even have that much room to work with.. lol. I’m doing pooh too! I’ve already thrown everything I can out.

  • The trick is to only buy what you need and then to use space saving furniture options like mini cribs, corner changing tables and laundry bags on the back of the door instead of hampers.

Draw a floor plan and move things around until you find a layout that works. You can also cut out pieces of painters sheet in the sizes of your furniture and move those around on the floor to find the best lay out.

You also want to use light colors to make the room appear open.

  • Buy only the necessities. Make sure that you have ample storage. Clean out/get rid of/donate to charity things that you no longer need to reduce clutter.

  • We had a very small space to work with too. Here is our baby girl to be’s room. Maybe this will help with some ideas.
